2010 Mitsubishi Galant

2010 Mitsubishi Galant SE

The five-passenger Mitsubishi Galant combines a sleek exterior and tasteful cabin with premium amenities and advanced safety technologies, presenting itself as a viable mid-size sedan in today's competitive market.

The front-wheel drive Mitsubishi Galant is offered in two trim levels: ES and SE. Both are powered by a 160-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, paired to a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shift mode. The value-conscious ES trim is equipped with 16-inch wheels, auto-off headlamps, air conditioning, cruise control and a CD player; SE trims are further outfitted with a rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, automatic climate control, a 6-disc CD changer and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Standard safety features include stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and a tire pressure monitor, along with dual front, front side-impact and overhead curtain airbags.

After an extensive redesign last year, the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant carries over with minimal changes. Every Galant is now equipped with Active Stability Control (ASC) and an auxiliary audio input jack, while SE trims get upgraded audio (including satellite radio) and a standard navigation system with rear backup camera. Additionally, the V6 engine and associated trim levels (Sport V6 and Ralliart) have been dropped from the simplified model lineup.
